To run your JScript in debug, simply type debugger; on a line before the code you want to be able to step through (thank goodness for MSDN!).
You are using absolute XPath, so that is going to be one problem you are having. I notice a variable called 'handler' -- and you mention it is to prevent an infinite loop error? What was happening ...

Hmmmm. It also seems odd that just adding a data connection would make your form require admin approval. Try this -- under Tools, Form Options, Programming, see if the "Remove Code" button is enabled. If so, and if you didn't intentionally add code to your form, click it to remove any code, then see if you can publish.
That being ...

Convert.FromBase64String only works when you have base64 string data. So, if you want to test it, you can always convert an image to base64 (add a picture control to a form, attach an image, open the XML with notepad, copy the base64 in the image field and paste it into a db field, for example, then report on it).
Like I said, we don't use ...

Did you add code or something? Simply adding a print view shouldn't cause your form to require admin approval...

Hi:
Do you have the InfoPath 2010 beta installed by any chance?

Ah, I see by Qazi's edit that the views aren't loaded at this point. You have your NewForm variable -- you might want to try adding a field to the form and then, in your code, set the value of the field. Set a rule on the field to switch views -- you can make that rule conditional, only set it when you open from code (thus, it has the ...

Hi:
You'll need to use preceding-sibling. I've attached a sample. Right click the link in the header to save the form locally. Open the saved file in design mode (right click and select design) and preview. There is conditional formatting on the first table, none on the second.

Hi: Under the properties for the button that always is highlighted (and for any of the buttons that you don't want in focus) set the Tab Index (under the control's properties Advanced tab) to -1. This will take the control out of the tab order.
Tabbed interfaces are nice -- good choice!

Hey, Chris:
What is your code? What fields do you have Changed events on? How do you know the Changed events aren't firing? If you've used absolute rather than relative XPath in your code, you may just be repeatedly recalculating your first row values, so it only looks like the events aren't firing. Have you run your code in debug to ...

We use our web service for submitting to SQL (DBXL) and I simply map the field in the form that has the base64 data to an nvarchar(max) column in my SQL table. SSRS handles base64 just fine -- you simply need to use an expression for the image source like:
=System.Convert.FromBase64String(Fields!FieldName.Value)
With, of course, the field your ...
