Greetings. I am trying to populate a dropdown from data that is returned from an ADO connection. I have read and downloaded the ''fully editiable Dropdown example. I was completely lost. (New to InfoPath) Is there a simple way to insert information into a dropdown? Thanks Bill

Lee, Yes, you can do this. I have an InfoPathDev.com Example I've started, but haven't had time to finish and post yet that shows how to select a Master table row using code. You will need to extract your form files and open the view .xsl file to get a piece of data for this to work. Let's say you wanted to hook this code up to the Next Row ...

The XPath you are missing is coming from the Filter. When you are selecting your field, there is a button at the bottom of the dialog box, named Filter. You select the field, click filter, and that's where the other XPath comes in. Greg Collins [InfoPath MVP]
