Glad you got it working.
I make a quick check and it appears to not be a problem with the main data source fields. I created two fields in a blank form, made the default value for field1 to be ''1''. Then I removed it form the view.
I didn't have any problem with the form or form template. This must be related to secondary data sources or ...

If you have a file comparison program, such as WinDiff (available as part of MSDN), then you can create a new form that works, and extract both forms out to individual files and do a file comparison. You can do this without an extra program but its a much more tedious process.
The most likely culprit will be the manifest.xsf, but it could also be ...

If your template is broken somehow you cannot expect the form.xml to work properly.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply. On Friday, I checked the database and the data records were there. Today I set up a new form and it retrieved the data.

Try two things and then get back to me...
1. Go into the Enterprise Manager and verify that the SQL content has been updated in the database.
2. Create a new form which attaches to the database and see if you can get the new form to bring down the updated rows.

I have drop down lists associated with a SQL database. That database is updated through another form. I then open the form that has the dropdowns in it. The data is not being retrieved. I check the parameters for the secondary database and the option to automatically retrieve the data on open is checked.
What could be causing this issue?
