Thanks. I think I get the drift. Quite tricky, then...
For now, I think I'll keep this for reference. I'll ''hard code'' into IP script knowledge of the tables/columns which hold datetimes which need converting between UTC & local time. This is, in effect, what I have had to do when exporting to reporting tools anyhow (i.e. everywhere in the ...

Greg,
Thanks for the work and explanantion. At least it all ties up with the situation I was in.
Of course I'm not satisfied with the behaviour! :) I am, however, very satisfied with the support you provide :) MS not sufficiently documenting is probably what is at issue. If I set a view as a default, I expect it to be the default. If they ...

1. <xsf:xDocumentClass... dataFormSolution=''yes'' ...>
2. <xsf:property name=''queryView'' type=''string'' value=''yes''/>
If either of these are not present you will not see the view ...

I asked elsewhere about getting at the schema at run-time. Greg answered:
quote:You cannot directly access the live schema. You can however load the schema for reference purposes. You will be working with a local copy of the schema and so any changes you make will not be affecting your form... but this is a good thing as changing your schema live ...

I'd like to be able to open the XSN file, edit the contents, and re-Cab the XSN using nothing but managed code.. Does anybody know where I can find managed code library that handles CAB file Compression?

Besides the .Net Framework what other concerns do I need to have with deploying IP forms when using Managed Code?
