Hi Hilary - Thank you for responding! I'm in the manifest.xsf file right now and I can't find anything related to "ruleset". Also, this file is only 60 lines long. I've attached this file. You said you've updated rules in the source files before.. Which file did you use to make these changes? Thank you for the help!

This worked perfectly! Thank you so much, Hilary!
Best,

Hi Hilary,
I have got the same issue "Unsupported Expression" while publishing the form, not getting any idea how to resolve this. But i think i have found the root cause why i'm getting this error. Please find below.

-Once form is submitted they kick off manual approval workflow.

-Challenge is approval workflow is already running.
-Is it possible to approve ...

Hi Hilary,
Attached is my latest file that I reference in my email to you. I have a repeating field called Publish which is set to "Yes" based on rules for each repeating field in the node that determine if the repeating node should be submitted or refreshed.

My vision apparently exceeds InfoPath's ability in 365. Repeating tables are needed, but insufficient - my sections need to be repeating/optional as well. In another forum, someone pointed out there Microsoft offers no InfoPath app for SharePoint. If I weren't new to Windows 10 and apps, that might have given me a clue to it's ...

Hi Hilary,
Please see attached form sample. The certificate status field with have a return value of either Current or Expired, based on the expiration date field. IF the expiration date is less than the today's date the return value in the status field is expired, and current if its equal or more than todays date. I tried the formula ...

Yeah, customizing a list form has a lot of limitations. That said, I'm not sure why you'd need a group? You can bind a section to any existing field?

The rules are in the manifest file - If your XPaths will be the same this might work, but I've not tried this. I've updated existing rules in source files before, but you'll see there is a ruleset ID that is used as a reference that needs to be unique. Search the manifest.xsf for ruleset and you'll quickly see what I mean. :)

I am so sorry this is so very late - but the multiple selection list box is bound to a repeating field. Instead of using another field for this, why not just put the repeating field on your summary page as a bulleted list or something? See attached for a sample, save the file locally, right click and select design to open in design mode.
