Hi Gill!
Welcome to the board!
1. yes, you can use code to do this.
2. yes, again. you can do conditional visibility I think.
Good luck,
Patrick

Try using an OnClick event handler and see if that works. Not sure why OnAfterChange wouldn't work, but it's possible it's because the DOM hasn't been updated.

Hi again,
You need to buy our book and read chapter 8. ;) This is actually a rather involved topic, but short answer is that you'll need to change your security or give the form greater permissions or change the code to do something that doesn't require full trust.
Good luck!

Hi Yeow,
Welcome to the board. I think Greg's example shows how to do this. You'll have to pass a handle to the form you load so that you can communicate back to the original form. Please look for the example of forms communicating.
Good luck!

No problem. Just use ImportFile. This is covered in the SDK.

Hi again,
This is all about deployment which is covered in detail in chapter 8. Easiest thing to do would be to read that chapter. Sorry if this answer seems trite, but it's a weight subject.
Cheers!

Hmmm... I'd try SelectText. Check out the example in the SDK for doing this.

Use a custom data validation pattern. Here's an example: ''(.+)@(\w+)(\.\w+)*\.(\w{2,6})''

In the SDK, look for Import. In the manifest.xsf, look for importParameters. This is covered in chapter 8 of our book.

Hi Jlpl,
Use the Merge Forms functionality. Aggregation is one of the most under-utilized yet powerful features in InfoPath. The SDK has an example of how to import a form of schema type A into a form of schema type B. It's very cool. Also, the out-of-box samples have an example of issues tracking merged into meeting agenda. Have fun!
