Is it mandatory for my friend to store the form template in the same location or path as in my machine? Or is there a way by which he can open it from any location? You need not do it in the User Interface. You can directly edit manifest.xsf file and search for your dataconnection path and replace the exesting webservice URL with your new URL. We dont have real good way of limiting a text box size with paragraph breaks on. But we can let user know that they have entered text more than they are supposed to. This can be done through data validation, by checking the length of the string using ''string-length()'' function provided by infopath. Agni InfoPathDev India

Hello, how can I limit the length of the text entered in an infopath textbox? The textbox must be multiline, and with the ''paragraph breaks'' checkbox checked, the option ''Limit text box to x charachters'' is unavailable. Is it possible to use a pattern to work around this problem? Any other solution? Thanks
