  • Re: onAfterChange loop error

Hi Abrusci, Welcome to the Forum! First thing is it loops because when you are changing value in ''OnAfterChange'' event you are causing the event to call itself again, and this goes on until the value reaches the max of integer size. There is also another limit on the number of onafterchange event getting called. If you want to do this ...

The SmartCombobox does not bind to a repeating node. Binding a property to a repeating node requires the value property be an IXMLDOMNode which is a very limited set of controls. Sorting ... sure, we do it all the time. Even the Samples have an example of two of sorting using jscript. In general, you need to create a separate secondary DOM to insert your elements into or create an index in your main DOM into the secondary DOM. Sounds like you want to do an xsl sort though, which is also possible but has to be defined in ...

you can do this with xpath, but it's a bit tricky. There was an interesting post on Microsoft's blog in March or April of 2004. I also found:http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2004/09/13/228881.aspx Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev
