  • Re: Installation form error

Hi Liorlankri, Indeed, you are one of the most prolific posters. Where are you located? Do you drink coffee? Can you send us some of your java? :) Just kidding! Anyway, if the form does not appear in the ''Fill Out a Form'' dialog, that means it is not registered which means the MSI to install the form didn't work or was not run. Please buy a ...

  • Re: Count Checked Checkboxes

Hi Jason, Sorry for the delay. ''Iterating over the checkboxes'' implies writing code. There may be a way to do it using an xpath, but code may actually be simpler (and easier to debug). Unfortunately, we don't have time to write code snippets for everyone these days but if you want to retain us for a small fee, let me know. Patrick Halstead ...

  • Re: OnSaveRequest and use of SaveAs

Hi Scott, Thanks for responding on the Full Trust thread and others! Great question! Well, my guess is that this won't work because OnSaveRequest is called as a result of Save or SaveAs. Hence, calling SaveAs from OnSaveRequest would result in an infinite loop. Think Samba! :) Also, note that SaveAs is level 3 which means ''in Full Trust do we ...

  • Re: x ref Access to Infopath or vice versa

Hi Dragon, Welcome to the forum! Yes, you can build an InfoPath form that talks to the DB. When you design a form there is an option to ''New From Data Connection''. Choose this and specify your Access DB. You'll get a form that can receive and submit data from your Access MDB. Note: be careful of the datatypes. If the data connection doesn't show ...

  • Re: Connecting to Secure Access Database

Hi Smaur, As long as the Access DB is in the same domain, you should be able to use some form of Windows Auth to get at it. InfoPath will popup auth dialogs for you to fill in when you access a machine outside of your domain. I'm not sure exactly how Access authenticates, though. You can make the form full trust to access the Access DB, but ...
