What I've done is set the data source to NOT query on load, then add Form Load rules to 1) set the query field values and 2) run the web service query. Not sure why the change was made, though, perhaps they were thinking that we always use form values for those query params?

Hi -- You can fake this with a repeating section and some formatting. I've attached a sample (not a terribly refined sample, but it will give you the general idea). Right click the link in this post's header, and save the XSN locally, then right click and select Design to open in design mode. You can preview and add items to the bulleted ...

The rule should go in your form's Open rules (under form options for 2003 and 2007, under the Data tab for 2010). The condition for the rule should be "if the field that I'm going to put the user name in is blank" and the rule logic should do whatever needs to be done to get the user name (by IP 2007, we have the userName() ...

The one thing I've seen in common with the errors is that they all refer to an exception in the code -- so it would seem there is something in your code that causes an exception when it runs in the browser but not in the client.
I know that probably sounds obvious -- and the question is obviously "But WHAT is causing the ...

Rather than switch views before emailing (don't know how it functions with code, but if you are using rules, you'll get a blank email at best), add a section to your form's main view, and put all the controls you want in your "Reminder" view in that section. Put all the other controls in the view in another section. Add a ...

Add a field to your form to hold the user name of the person who first opens the form. Have a rule in your form that on open, sets that field to the userName() function if it is blank. That way, your user name field will have the name of the person who opened the form initially. Add an email submit connection. Set the "to" field to the ...

You'll need to have saved the submitter's email (or username) in a form field. Create an email data connection that uses that user's name as the "To" field. Then, when the manager does whatever action disapproves the time sheet (like setting a field's value or clicking a button), you add a rule that submits the form using ...
