Hi shyananth, Welcome to the Forum!
You can add your sharepoint site URL in your trusted sites, and when you logon next time check teh checkbox to remember the password, it will not ask you password from next time onwards. This is the way you do it.
I dont think you can do away with single log on for IE and InfoPath.

Hi,
It's possible that you have a reference type on the WSDL file and infopath don't support that!
see:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/889494/en-us
for see your wsdl file add ?WSDL at the end of the addres of your webservice!

I have published my infopath form in sharepoint form library.
when ever i open my infopath form from sharepoint it asks for login, even though i logged in sharepoint.
can this be controled using single sign-on or anything else?

It's easier to do than that. I'll ask someone else to send the link.

Hi, I tried with AppendChild in this way:
dim objDoc
set objDoc = CreateObject(''Msxml2.DOMDocument.5.0'')
objDoc.setProperty ''SelectionNamespaces'', ''xmlns:dfs=''''http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/dataFormSolution'''' '' & ''xmlns:my=''''http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2005-06-29T14:42:29'''' ...
