Have you looked at a rule with an action to set the value of that field to the result of the xpath concat function? You could concat those fields together into a string that is set to the field.

Hi Bush3102,
Yes, you can do all three, but you will need to either write some code or use one of the InfoPath accelerators out there - for example: qRules and/or DBXL. InfoPath 2010 list forms do not support sending to 2007 lists without code and vice versa with 2007 form library forms. Form library forms can connect directly to a database, ...

My guess is that it has something to do with the security setting of the form. If it has code it cannot be "Restricted". When you are emailing an XSN to a user, it must be set to Restricted. Having code in the form will prevent that (either yoru code or qRules).

Hi Murthy,
Just to be sure we are understanding you, can you add an image of the error you are getting?

Hi William.Ru,
I seem to recall that we developed a clever sample for this in the past but now I can't find it. Filtering doesn't work here because you need to compare against previously selected items. You could write code to do some kind of IsMember check but there is a simpler way. Basically, you just need to set "selected" ...

Hi Golden Shiner and welcome!
Did you add the event handler to the parent or the child? I'm guessing it's associated with he child underneath the repeating parent group node. Please try adding it to the repeating parent group node.

Hi Red53Magoo,
When you publish as new content types you should have the option on one of the dialogs in the publish wizard to associate the promoted properties with the new site columns. You might also look into the Promoted Properties dialog on the File->Form Options->Promoted Properties dialog.
Good luck,
