• Re: Can't open form in Design mode: URGENT!!!

    Looks like one of those rare roundtrip bugs. How are you trying to open the form in the designer? Are there any details in the form's error message? Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Can't open form in Design mode: URGENT!!!

    Hey Guys, Well, when I went to continue designing my form today, I was greeted with a very cold error. I went to open the form in design mode as usual and it gave me the following error, ''Infopath has encountered an error. The operation failed.'' Now the only thing, that I am certain of, that has happened since the last time I edited this form ...

  • Re: Running code from a hyperlink

    As far as I know we cannot write code for a hyperlink. When you add a Hyperlink to your InfoPath UI, <a> tag is added in the View.xsl file. for example when you add a hyperlink for hotmail the xsl that is created for that would be <a href=''http://www.hotmail.com'' xd:disableEditing=''yes''>www.hotmail.com</a> But one thing you ...

  • Re: buttons rules and text boxes - NEED URGENT

    The first approach is invalid code. The second approach is the correct one: XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''/my:myFields/my:flag'').Text = ''1''; What is the error you are getting? Are you attempting to do this in an OnBeforeChange or OnValidate event handler? The DOM is readonly during those events and you will not be able to update ...

    Yes. In the Designer, you can double click on the button control and choose Edit Form code. This will bring up the script editor. To add .NET code, you'll want to create a project in Visual Studio using the InfoPath template. This is covered in Chapter 2 of our book. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Running code from a hyperlink

    I was wondering if you could set up a link in infopath to execute a block of code when it is clicked... I imagine there is a way but it doesn't seem intuitive. Anybody know?

  • Re: Position() and filtering

    Hi Tatopitta, Using position() in filtering should help you in filtering the rows above ''n''. Go to filtering on the reapating table, select ''my:InsCurrentCompany'' on left side and conditon in the middle and add position() function on right side. Agni InfoPathDev India
