  • Re: Query data note being displayed

Yes, I checked the DB and the data was there. I found a work around for the Drop Down Lists...not fun but got it to work. Basically if I check a Check Box and the value is ''1'' if checked then ''1'' is submitted to the DB. However, when I reopen the form(form queries OnLoad) the check box is not checked. The same problem is happening with ...

  • Re: Clearing the current form

Hi Smaur, The values that you want to empty are in the attributes, and you are trying to empty the nodes which donot have any data. Try to replace whole of the node with totally new one, with the help of code. Agni InfoPath Dev India

Patrick, Thanks, that makes more sense, but it still does'nt clear the fields. Although it took care of the error message. The resulting effect is that the entire form is highlighted, but the data remains.

  • Re: Enabling or Disabling of Custom Toolbar Buttons

Hmm. I don't know of any direct way to enable/disable the toolbar buttons unless they are tied to insert/delete of optional/repeating sections -- and then its fairly automatic. I do recall reading other discussions (don't recall where) in which people used full trust forms and code that reached directly into the InfoPath window to do this kind of ...

  • Re: email

Hi Sunil, You can use a Rule that triggers for each value and sets toe To recipient. Or, you can have an OnAfterChange event handler that sets the To recipient based on the value in the dropdown. I hope these hints help. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

Hi Smaur, attributes are not sets of nodes, right? If you remove the ''/@ReqID'' from your XPath what do you get? Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: One Form: Two unconnected Access Tables: How??

Hi Roy, Great to hear this! I don't think we helped much though... sounds like you figured it out on your own. Anyway, Rules work great for automatically fields based on other fields. Sorry, but I thought you wanted to show/hide sections and controls (in which case, Conditional Display is the approach). Anyway, glad you solved your problem. Have ...
  • Re: Managed Code Deployment

Hi VT_Asparagus and welcome to our forum! If you deploy a .NET managed code solution to SharePoint with security level set to Domain Trust(the default), you don't need to create an MSI. InfoPath on the client will download the latest template from the server when it opens the form. K2 is a good choice. Many people have used that with InfoPath ...
