You shouldn't have to use full trust. Is your list and form on the same server?
-
Hi -- my guess is that you are asking about an actual filename and not a window caption. The real problem with "count the number of files created that day" is thinking through when you make that count -- not when the form is opened, because if I open the form and get a "3" for being third, and someone else opens the form before ...

I wonder if you could add a calculated column to your list that doesn't show in the view, and is a number (like in your test) based on the value of your Yes / No column, then use that field for the checkboxes in your form?
Or, I suppose, since this is a secondary data source and you are probably just displaying the data, maybe have expression ...

Here's an attached sample where any "No" answer = Fail. You won't see all the questions in the repeating table until you preview. To see where the questions are, look in the default values for the form (this is under Tools / Default Values in IP 2007).
You could change the button labels to "Pass" and "Fail" ...

Ooooh, I wonder if it is because they can be blank? Can you bind option buttons to that field in your form?
-
Yah, that's kind of what I was thinking was going to happen. If you have a checkbox bound to one of these fields, and also a text box (so you can see the actual value) and you preview and select the checkbox, what does the actual value show? What about when you de-select?

Hey, thanks for posting what the issue was -- now others who import forms from Word will understand why they have extra rows!
-
Actually, the default is usually 1. If you look in the Tools menu, under the default values (the Data tab if you are using IP 2010), then find your group, you may find that there are more instances included by default than you want....
I seem to get > and < mixed up all the time, especially when dealing with hiding controls.....

Conditional formatting of hide if position() > 3 would do this ... Is this a secondary data source or your main data source? I'm just not sure if what you want to do is limit people to only inserting 3 rows, limit the display of returned data, etc.

Are you able to change the checked / unchecked values for the checkbox controls? It seems odd that if the boxes are bound to your secondary data source that they aren't being created with the correct values... but if you can change them you could set checked to be 1 and unchecked to be 0.
