Hi Dan B-
You should make the fields not required, and then use conditional validation/formatting, to require the fields necessary for each view.
For example, you can add red highlighting to the field, or you can disable the submit button until all the fields are filled in.
Good luck!

Hi-
Can you elaborate on why these aren't working?
I imagine there could be a problem with the information returned by the user profile web service. Have you tried displaying the Result of that data connection onto the canvas to look at the information being returned?

Hi-
Finding the date difference in something that typically requires code. We have included this as a command in qRules - read more here:

Thanks!

Have you set the text boxes to "None" under Borders? I'm attaching a screenshot.

That's a strange error and it might be a form-specific issue, such as the XSN having two QdabraRules.xsd files in source.
Would you mind attaching the XSN to this forum thread via the Options tab? If not, perhaps send it to support at qdabra dot com?
Thanks.

Hi-
When you launch the InfoPath designer, choose to create a Database form (screenshot attached), and then follow the InfoPath wizard. It should be quite easy, but there are tutorials online which should help.
The problem with the counter is that you would likely have to define it via rules in the form, before submitting. If you have two people ...

If the file names are the same, you should expect to get a message about upgrading the solution. That is, you wouldn't need to re-activate the form.
So that would be my first guess: that the filenames are different and therefore SharePoint central admin is treating them like separate forms.
Can you check? Thanks!

This usually required code.
If you cannot write your own custom code, you could try qRules, which has a command called SaveToPath which will accomplish this. However, note that whether you use qRules or custom code, you'll need to make the form Full Trust and it cannot be a browser-enabled form.
Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear you've run into these issues.
I post in the forum using Mozilla Firefox and haven't run into issues. I'm using Firefox 13.0.1. I've also verified that I don't have issues on IE 9.
I would check whether the browsers have the latest updates. The error for quoting seems like a script error, so maybe some ...

Hi-The problem is that a List Form has a locked schema - that is, the schema is intrinsically locked to the SharePoint list.If you design the form, and start adding controls, you're going to run into issues because there is no location in the SharePoint list to store these items.
You would need to modify the SharePoint list, then design the ...
