Have you thought about creating an xml file instead of a CSV? Then you could use it as a data source.
You can create ODBC connections to a CSV file. I believe you could have each have an ODBC connection to the file you create and then load the data from the file via a secondary data connection. That would pass the data ...

I am not sure how Visio, especially 2003 can use XML. You should be able to get the shape images in InfoPath but how you would communicate with Visio is unknown.
What about using a SQL backend and then having InfoPath update SQL and Visio map from the SQL data?

Matt,
Click on my name and send me an email and we can set up a demo.
Active Directory is a database, so the web service queries it directly and loads the fields right into your form for its use. It does not copy it to an additional SQL table. So when the form opens it queries AD and returns the user's username, which you ...

Hey Kevin. Welcome to the forum.
This is a great solution for InfoPath.
1. I believe you would need SQL, I do not think you can write web services on Access, its at least not best practice for an enterprise solution.
2. You will need web services. You should evaluate the Database Accelerator package which includes the web services you ...

This is possible. Do you want it in the standard Attachment control or something else?
Have you thought about just adding a hyperlink instead of embedding it in the form?
You can point a file at the attachment control, I believe on MSDN it details what can be done witht he attachment control but I know you can set a file to it. It has been ...

I have always just set up the web service DC codeless and in Open Rules had the value I needed placed in an EmployeeID field in my form. Then use code to grab the value from there. I am sure there is a way to get it directly in code, I am sure just a syntax issue, but I have not needed to yet.
