Hi,
I'm quite new to .NET so I don't really know how to deal with raw XML data in a C# Web Service. All I can do is code my WebService class and the methods, and .NET does the rest...
Plus, what's the point of having such complex technologies as InfoPath and VS .NET if you can't take advantage of the integrated possibilities they provide ?

I have found! It's easy no namespace no declaration:
IXMLDOMElement oElement = (IXMLDOMElement)NewMut;
IXMLDOMAttribute Aenderung = (IXMLDOMAttribute)NewMut.

Aenderung.text = ''1'';

I resolved my problem using:
[VBScript]
''Set Nodes = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''//my:Section1'')
Set Node = Nodes.item(ItemNumber)
XDocument.View.SelectNodes(Node)''
It gave me an error becouse the view shows only a field ''mySection1'' a time, since it's repeated. Thank u so much, now it works fine :)

Thanks for the info Patrick,
Unfortunately when I removed the data connections, it didn't really make a huge speed savings. I even forced the security mode into ''restricted'', but still didn't improve load times.
As noted before, it's strange that the form loads quick on a server close by, and takes longer on a server further away. Clearly it ...

Hi all,
I found this power point document on the internet, that may help people in the future. It gives an overview of what infoPath does before a form loads.
The Document hasn't helped me with my problem, but has given a greater understanding of how InfoPath works.
The power point was created by Joshua Bell (Lead Program Manager for InfoPath, ...

Have you tried selecting a node that is visually at the top of the form using the .SelectNodes() method? That may scroll you up to the top.
XDocument.View.SelectNodes(''my:NODE_AT_THE_TOP_OF_FORM'')
