• Re: Passing InfoPath Parameter via sharepoint

Hi Erez, Thanks for your patience. We'll post an example over the weekend. There are several threads that explain how to do it, but we also have some sample code which should make it even easier for you. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: Can't open form in Design mode: URGENT!!!

There are a few bugs in InfoPath Designer. I can't promise you that we can ''resurrect'' your forms, but we have ways to fix them. Anyway, send these to ''support'' at infopathdev.com, and we'll take a look. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: How to reduce the time for a Form to load

Hi Reg, So, the policy for users is that they cannot install the form locally. I wonder if your company policy is to limit them from installing to C:\Program Files\... or from writing to the registry? Do you know? If it's the former, you may be able to specify a different location to get the install to succeed. There is another option and that ...

  • Re: E-mail print view

We have done this with code but unfortunately it requires Full Trust to call Print programmatically. Another option is using digital signatures since InfoPath include image generation for them. That doesn't require Full Trust but will require code to programmatically sign the form and extract the image and attach it to e-mail. Also, your users ...

  • Re: How to reduce the time for a Form to load

Hi Patrick, thanks for the reply, I'll try to clarify what I said before: The way I thought regform works, is that you can create an MSI file. The MSI file is placed on a server, and a user can download and run it. A user would then run that file, and the form would install to a default directory of 'C:\Program Files\InfoPath Form Templates\'. ...

  • Use the SharePoint '[Me]' Filter with a Promoted Property

When saving InfoPath forms to SharePoint document libraries you might need to limit the forms users see. For example, if you have an established workflow, you might want to limit users to see only those forms that are assigned to them. SharePoint provides a special filter so that users can see, for example, only those items that they created or ...

  • Re: Encrypted database connection string

I had to refresh myself a little but I was able to get this warning. To get it I: 1 - Created a user in SQL Server that required a SQL server password and did not user Windows Authentication. 2 - I then added the user to the Northwind DB. 3 - Created an InfoPath form, and made a connection to a table in Northwind with that user. Then I got the ...

  • E-mail print view

Is there any way that the Print view can be sent as an attachment when submitting the form as an e-mail?

  • Re: Multiple HREF

Hi again, There's a regform option for making it Fully Trusted. I think it's ''/T Yes'' or something. There should be the same parallel method for the js script, but I'm not exactly sure. You are using regform, so try specifying ''/T Yes'' and see if that works. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: Auto Fill

OK, let's see how well I can explain an answer to what (I think) you're trying to do. 1) Set up your Access DB as a secondary data connection. Do Tools --> Data Connections --> Add and choose to receive data. Pick a SQL / Access DB and then select the relevant database. It will ask you to pick tables / columns etc. Make sure you're happy ...
