I thought Jimmy had you all sorted out in the other thread? Is that not the case? It certainly looked as if he was helping you. Or do you have a new issue? If so, you may want to explain the issue so that someone can help you. :-)

You'll need to check your SharePoint error logs for more info so you can find out what is going wrong. I'm assuming your second code snippet isn't running when the form opens, so if the code is a problem, it would be the first snippet, which I'll assume is in your loading event?

I don't mean to be stubborn, but it appears at least in the form options that a person could choose to disable Save and Save As and Close and Submit could still show. See the attached screenshot. Are you saying these options don't work as I'd expect, and that not showing the Save command actually will also not show Close and Submit?

Hi:
I'm easily confused, so let me ask a half dozen questions. Are you saying a secondary data source isn't returning data when the data type is boolean? What's the data source? SharePoint? How are you displaying the data? If it is a control in a repeating table, is the control a text box? An expression box?

What does the current filter on your data source for your dropdown look like?

Why not just disable Save and Save As? Under Form Options.... (Advanced Form Options for IP 2010).

No, I'm afraid I don't. You may want to use SharePoint web services to check your document out on open so that you'll have that info. I blogged this last week, in case it can help you.

What does the link look like?
You could try specifying OpenIn=Client. MSDN has some more info on this.

I just blogged using SharePoint's web services for this. No code required.

I wasn't suggesting you NOT use repeating tables. Just that you set the controls INSIDE the cells to not have padding, margins or borders. If you attach your form to a reply, I'll take a quick look at it (under the Options tab).
