Hi-
Rules execute before code, so the rules are executing, the form is submitted, perhaps closes, and then the Print command has no chance to execute.
You could add a node to your form schema and add to it the rules that you want to run after code. Your button (without rules) will now call the code only. Then after all your code has ...

The rule won't be evaluated until the user tabs out of the control (that is, until the field "loses" focus). I haven't run across a workaround; I've always taken this as default InfoPath behavior, unfortunately.

Hi,
Assuming that you have already defined a user group (under Data > User Roles), then you can add conditional formatting to the section, as shown in the attached screenshot.
Hope this helps!

Hi-
A repeating section might be just what you need. You'll need to add a repeating group to your form's schema, and then within that group you want to have your data fields (Delivery No, Part No, etc) . The repeating section will give you a clickable option to "add more rows". You click that and InfoPath adds another set of the ...

Sure! We just released qRules v4.2, but I'll add a request to investigate this for the next version.
Again, this is most likely a limitation in Office 365 and there may be nothing that qRules can do, but we'll check.

Hi Donna,
I just tried this and could not get it to work. I tried both in the browser and in the client. I know we set up a scenario like this at some point in the last 6 months but it was SharePoint 2010 and not Office 365.
If you'd like us to investigate further (why Office 365 doesn't support this, maybe try to find a ...

You need to make sure that the form is not changing names each time someone submits. The form therefore retains the same name and overwrites the previously existing form.
If you are allowing Save on ...

For a list with 1700 items, you will face a delay on load. The only option that comes to mind is to somehow create a cascading filter. For example, let's say the items are divided into Categories. The user would first select a category in the IP form. Based on the selected Category, then the second dropdown will show the list items that match ...

Hi Dean,
I believe you'll need to train users to use the close button instead of closing the window. Closing the window won't allow the "on close" rules to execute.
Good luck.

Hi-
I'm not sure I understand your proposed solution. Is the Synopsis form being submitted? (that is, an XML is created in addition to the ShP list items) Does the Quarterly report form have the same exact schema as the Synopsis form? (if no, then the form won't know how to open the Synopsis xml)
Your Quarterly report form would ...
