You probably want to change that to plain text multi-line in SharePoint if you want to customize the font. The richest of all text is going to allow the users control over things like font when they are entering data. You will have to customize the form again!

Yeah, so as far as I could tell that multiple lines setting on regular text boxes did NOTHING in my list form.... so I'd try changing the list, and refreshing the form fields - you'll end up having to replace your text controls in the form too, I think. :)

So - here's what I'm seeing w/ a "multiple line of text" control. Can you tell me more about the data types you are using?

That's fine - this is a list form then. So in InfoPath, list forms are lists where we used InfoPath to customize the form (like you are describing). There are also forms that you can publish to and submit to form libraries. I was not able to reproduce the issue with text boxes in a library form, so I'll try a list form.

Oh - this is something I forgot to ask - are you using list forms here or library forms? Or does the issue exist in both?

Should be able to - were you able to copy that text before you submitted in your test form?

Yeah, I've see this happen and it is frustrating. This must be in the browser, right? What version of IP? 2010 or 2013? SharePoint on prem or online? It sounds like this is a browser form. If so, go check the SharePoint ULS logs during the time frame of the issue. If not, you'll have to wait for the issue to re-occur and then you can run a tool like Fiddler while submitting to see if you can get more info.
