I don't see such a button, but I don't see any of what is in your screenshot (except for the "Promoted Properties" tab, but I see it alongside qRules, View, Resource Files, Data Connections, Form, SharePoint Mappings, but not near any "Publish Location" tab). How would I get there?

Sorry for the delayed response - hopefully you found this, but if not, there is a button for Publish Location that lets you change this - see attached screenshot.

How would one go about changing the Publish Location on the Promoted Properties page of FormsViewer Designer?

What I do in my form is place an admin section at the bottom of every form that I can see and interact with. I then create a section for what I will label as Manager Actions. I use rules to hide both sections based on the logged in user. Make sure the rules pane is open. Click the Data tab and Form Load. New Rule > action > set a ...

I am trying to restrict the person selected in my form is the only person that is allowed to approve or reject. Basically wanting to format the button to allow my field InfoPath (person) to be able to run the actions on the button on individual views. As it stands now anyone is able to “approve” the task, however only the person named will get the ...

One thing you might do is just leverage a little UI work-around. First, put the person picker in a section. Then, hide the section if Display Name is not blank. Next, add another section - hide this one if ...

DisplayName & AccountType are populated; AccountId is not.

Interesting. If you look at the file in a text editor, what fields for the person picker are populated? i.e. is there information for the account ID as well as the display name?

I have files in an XML Forms library which were created by an InfoPath form, which contains a Person field. That field doesn't show up in the Library definition, but the entered value is displayed when a file is re-opened, and I can see the information contained in the file's contents. If I open a file up using a FormsViewer form ...

Also - here is a command overview for qRules that has additional info - some of this is intended for the old version that was added to InfoPath forms, but should still be helpful: https://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/entry90746.aspx
