I am very sorry for the mistake, I should really do my research first!
Did you ever figure out a solution to your problem?

Hi Catharine,
I think you are underestimating the power of XPath! :)
Let's assume your schema is this:
my:myFields
--my:group1
----my:group2
------my:FirstName
------my:SecondName
------my:Info1
------my:Info2
------my:Primary
------my:Info3
------my:ID
Only one primary = yes
I would put a data validation rule on t he my:Primary ...

Hi Jeff,
I'm not sure how to truncate, but if you right-click the database in SQL Server Management studio, there is a Tasks -> Shrink -> Files option. That might do the trick.
As for deleting Documents, you should never ever delete directly from the DBXL database tables. Doing so could cause catastrophic results. If ...

Ah, I see your problem. It's not that your too slow in getting to the data, it's that it is never stored onto that DOM. We have hit this problem a couple times when working with DBXL. If you want to remain codeless, then you should transform your Submit data connection into a Query data connection. These two ...

Yes, 1100 nodes on any single InfoPath view will cause huge performance hits. You should use paging to only show 20 rows at a time, or when you are deleting, switching to another "Deleting" page while the delete operation runs, and then switch back after it is done.

Is VSTA opening or are you using full-blown Visual Studio? This should be pretty easy to find in Solution Explorer. I have attached a screenshot.

Hi erugalatha,
Thanks a lot for the praise! We work really hard to stay on the bleeding edge of electronic forms development, and as we do that try to keep the community informed of our advances. In addition to this, we learn a lot from all of you on what the major pain points are and what we can do to alleviate those pain ...

Saludos,
I have not heard any rumor of a mobile version of InfoPath. This seems unlikely due to the young age of this application. It's also pretty slow and takes a lot of computer resources.
Your best bet will be to create browser-enabled forms in InfoPath and then mobile devices with a web browser can access them. ...

Hi Catharine,
If you are just trying to do data validation, why use code at all? Here is a tutorial on narrowing down drop-down list choices depending on the choices made in other rows:
http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2006/05/23/Filter-a-Repeating-Drop_2D00_Down-List-on-Previous-and-Future-Selections.aspx
If this is not what ...

Hi ninjaben,
Why do you have a completely seperate section dedicated for reviewing? Why don't you just use further filtering to filter the first table down to the ones that are marked for review. This way, all your button would do would be to set a new "needsReview" field to true.
If you do this, then your code to ...
