Hi Tatopitta!
What version of InfoPath are you using? SP1 should support dual URN/URL mode solutions which means it should work offline just fine. Of course, this is not true if you have some kind of secondary data source that you are accessing.
However, it sounds like you have some weird state where you are URL-only. InfoPath uses the IE cache, ...

I'd recommend WinForms for that. It's just code, and you can hook the window control and intercept it, but probably a lot of work. Sorry I don't have more time to blindly dig into this with my hairless noggin.... :)

Heya,
We're very interested in beta testing K2. I have talked with them before and may tap my VP contact at the company. When you say ''Spin Up'' what do you mean? How about we partner to create a series of WWF and K2 articles for InfoPath?

Just ask the database if it has one already in there:
var query = ''SELECT id from mytable where id='' + XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode( ''//my:id'' ).text;
If it returns a row, then you know there is already an ID of that value in the database, if it doesn't you're in luck!
Hope this helps!

I want to query with a partial name on the database,
I want to search for all of the first names that start with D, seems like unless I put in a match the query won't return results.
