  • Re: Reference nodes in most recent repeating section

    Check out this thread:http://infopathdev.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1569 Also, this has been discussed many times before on this very forum. There is a search link in the upper right corner of the screen that might bring even more insight. --------------- Matt Faus InfoPath Dev Texas

  • Re: VB .net managed code

    You need to be running at least Visual Studio .NET. I think the earliest version of this was 2002. The reason for this is you must install the InfoPath 2003 Toolkit for Visual Studio .NET and this will only work with Visual Studio .NET. There is another download for Visual Studio 2005, but you have to get it from MSDN. The link for the toolkit ...

  • Re: Expose Mandatory property

    Hm, haven't tried this before - try this out: var oNode = XDocument.selectSingleNode( ''my:myFields/my:field1'' ); var oMinOccurs = oNode.selectSingleNode( ''@minOccurs'' ); if( oMinOccurs.text == ''1'' ) { /* node is required */ } Also, if that doesn't work you could try using oNode.getAttribute( ''@minOccurs'' ). Like I said, I haven't tried ...

  • Re: Programmatically designating a node as Required

    Instead of using just one node that you switch validation on and off of you could use two nodes and conditional formatting. Say you have two nodes such as dataCanBeBlank dataCannotBeBlank You can use conditional formatting and a helper node to determine which node is displayed. This would be ''hide control when _helperNode_ equals true''. The ...

  • Re: Prevent form update

    I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish. If you open the forms in read-only mode, would this work? --------------- Matt Faus InfoPath Dev Texas

  • Re: Event firing and repeating section

    To select the field of the specific row, try something like this: e.Source.parentNode.selectSingleNode( ''@LocationOffloadCode'' ); Depending on what e.Source points to you might have to ''normalize'' the source and use something more like this: e.Parent.selectSingleNode( ''@LocationOffloadCode'' ); I hope this helps! --------------- Matt ...

  • VB.NET and C#

    I'm seeing the adoption of InfoPath by many medium to large businesses, mainly using InfoPath to store collected in SQL and to edit it. The preferred language is VB.Net , with C#.Net as secondary. Absolutely no demand for jscript or vbscript. Since all my projects are using MS Office automation and SQL, all the programmers doing work for me use ...
