• Re: Using infopath2010 files in sharepoint

Hi -- I don't understand the question -- you mean you don't want to publish your templates? And you want to make changes to the source files? And the form libraries should use the source files instead of the templates? Or something else entirely? [quote user="Alpeich"] xml+xsd+xsl files in sharepoint without the typical ...

  • Re: How can I save the ID from a combo box?

If your combo box is populated from a secondary data source, you could get the "display" value from that, using the "value" from your combo box field as part of your XPath filter. If your combo box is simply hardcoded, with the values in the control itself, there is no way to get those display values in code.

  • Re: Unspecified error -- Help!

Well, it does seems very random, doesn't it. You weren't able to save the template at all or as source files? I'd love to look at the source files and see if we could figure out what was giving you that error. I think you were talking about the button label, not the name, correct? I was thinking the issue may be with a button name (or ...

  • Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List

In the form you attached, the LevelTwoMapping doesn't have any level one items. It looks exactly like the original form you sent. So any new mapping you did shouldn't be affecting the original command set up.

  • Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List

Just to clarify, then, you are getting the above error when you run your Submit To All Tasks rule (with the command: SubmitToSharePointList /submit=ShPSubmit /mapping=LevelTwoMapping /id=@my:id3)? Your /id field does not appear to be an attribute, but in the copy of the form you attached, the command has the syntax: /id=@my:id3 In your data ...

  • Re: Unspecified error -- Help!

Anything in the Design Checker? Did you rename any of your buttons? Any chance one of them has a name that starts with an invalid char? Is IP allowing you to save your template at all? What about as source files?

  • Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List

Can you attach your latest template? The /id parameter is an optional parameter. The value should be the relative XPath where you want the ID for the list item that is created in SharePoint returned -- this way when your existing XML is opened, you can update existing SharePoint list items rather than creating new.

  • Re: Unspecified error -- Help!

I'm sure you've tried this -- but undo your font change and try to save again? What happens then? Are there any details available on any of the error messages (sometimes there is a Details button you can click that will expose more info about the error).

  • Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List

This command has a lot of moving parts. It is easier for me to find the issues because I've had to look for them a lot -- missing a single parameter certainly doesn't make you stupid. :-} Looking at your data source, everything seems to be properly nested -- you should be able to add to your LevelTwo mapping to include items from LevelOne ...

  • Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List

Your submit data connection is not set up correctly. The listName parameter should use the mapping ListCollection node for its value (looks like the data connection is LevelTwoMapping). Try changing that and see what happens....
