Posted to Code (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 02-24-2011 Re: Error on Submit In InfoPath 2007, the "Go To Next Error" command was easy to find when filling out a form and having this happen. It isn't so easy to find in IP 2010, in fact, I finally gave up and added it to the Quick Access Toolbar. The keyboard shortcut, I believe, is Ctrl + Shift + O (that is the letter "o", not the number 0). When ... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 02-24-2011 Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List Can you try the attached template? I've injected it with a more recent version of qRules, just in case part of this behavior is caused by a logic flaw we've since fixed. Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 02-22-2011 Re: Redirect page Hey, Chris: Thanks for posting the solution to help others. Just to re-iterate -- if a browser form is opened from a link, you can set the page the user is returned to on close by setting the Source parameter. Per MSDN: Source The location to which the user will be redirected when the form is closed. The URL must be in the same ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 02-22-2011 Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List No, sorry, I'm obviously not explaining this well. If you want to submit nested repeating items to a SharePoint list, you want to map the deepest level, which you did -- you mapped the level two items. However, since you've selected level two as your group, if you don't have a level two group present, your data won't be submitted ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 02-22-2011 Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List I think anytime a LevelOne is inserted you'd need to use the Insert command to add a LevelTwo, make sure there is always at least one LevelTwo As to your earlier comment that you'd used the full XPaths to your LevelOne items -- that will always get you the first LevelOne item, which is not what you want. You'll need to use relative ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 02-22-2011 Re: Submit nested repeating fields to Sharepoint List Thanks for providing more detail. Just from reading this, I can see where the problem is -- the mapped group is the LevelTwo group. So Test 4 fails because your mapped repeating group (LevelTwo group) is not present -- that is, we have a mapping that defines the LevelTwo group as being the repeating group, and now we have a new LevelOne ... You only have one version of IP installed on your machine, I trust? Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 02-22-2011 Re: Using infopath2010 files in sharepoint You can modify the source files and republish the form, but I don't believe there is a way to get past the publication step. I mean, I guess if you saved the form as source files to the SharePoint folder location you wanted to use it from, and then modified your form library to open the manifest.xsf, you may be able to do this, but I'd say ...
