Well, I don't know about showing a pop up window upon the clicking of a button, but you could definitely use conditional formatting on a control to achieve the same thing. Make a new node: boolShow, attach conditional formatting to the VendorDropDown that hides when boolShow is false. The Choose button will toggle the boolShow to true. After ...

  • Re: Numeric only fields

Why write custom code when you can just use the Data validation built in to InfoPath? If a field is invalid, InfoPath can issue a message box on it's own. Try this: 1. Double-click the field 2. Click Data Validation at the bottom of the dialog box. 3. Click Add 4. Select Does Not Match Pattern from the second drop-down box. 5. Type ...

  • Re: infopath cannot open blank, new form

I think it has something to do with security issues. Use the domain security settings and publish the form again if all the systems accessing the form are in the same domain. or in case of different domains or cross domains, Make the form fully trusted.

  • Re: Numeric only fields

However u can throw an alert to the user to enter numeric values only by writing code in the OnAfterChange event for the textbox. Steps involved 1)Set the default value for the field as 0. 2)Then write the following code in the ...
