Hi David,
Thanks for using our forum! Sounds like domain trust issues, but it's really hard to tell. We can talk to the SharePoint gurus about this, but my feeling is that you shoud have your IT admins debug it. Our specialty is InfoPath, not network trust relationships. If your IT team can't solve the problem, I would suggest that we talk to one ...

No, It is not necessary to substitute any field name or form name & etc in the code. But It is necessary to give the “xpath” of the test field (“isso_name”) for the “selectSingleNode()” method.
And I think you followed the code which I mentioned in ''C#'' and the ''xpath'' of the text field ''Name'' which I used in my example. It is wrong.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your reply. Maybe i'm going about this the wrong way, and maybe i haven't explained myself fully. I've designed a form which is pretty much finished, and has a repeating table with text boxes in it for the user to insert a brief description of events on a regular basis. 2 other users are connected to the network and i wish ...

Hi there
I have a repeating table with 3 columns with text boxes in them. I am a newbie to infopath, so i hope what i have written makes sense!
Thank you in advance

Hi Agni,
Thank you for your reply. I will forward to our IT people.
I have tried the trusted site method you suggested without success or change. thank you.
It used to work just fine when accessing it from behind the firewall through our desktop IE.
When i say i am accessing it from within the network i only mean that i am on the internet ...

I think you'll want to do something like this:
if( Int32.Parse( thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode( ''_XPATH_'' ).text ) > 10 )
{
//field is greater than 10
}
