Yep, that is all you need. I have done several projects with this same requirement.
Create a picture field
Use the Ink Picture control
You can set a default picture or the user can attach their own and be able to draw on it.
I guess in your case just right click on your picture control and change it to an ink picture.
Let me ...

If you mean someone from the Internet access a browser form, they would need to get through your firewall and to the IFS server, since it is what renders the form. You could have them go through your other web server but it would need IFS or they would need to get all the way to your SharePoint server.
It is a matter of connectivity and ...

In form options you can turn off the save / save as functionality, typically a good practice.
When you create the data connection to submit to SharePoint use the concat function and fields from your form to create a unique file name for each document.
Maybe name date and ID, or just ID or whatever.
That way they hit submit, you know ecatly ...

This is possible as an ink control, but that unfortunately is only supported on tablet PC's or Vista (which supports inking).

Welcome to the forum.
You can add validation to the field in its properties, which will offload some of this. Does standard validation not work for you?

Do you use a query or lookup button?
Typically I would use a rule on the button after the query, where query field account name in not blank and data field account name is(nothing found).
Then the action would be your message or an expression box
concat("What were you thinking entering ", ActName, "? That does not work!")

Welcome to the forum. Interesting question.
I understand the concept, offline capability, and being able to upload and merge the data later.
There is not a way to submit back into an existing XML. You could possible have a "packaging" routine, that ran on the computer, that would perform the merging as a new form was added ...

I am not sure what you mean by a form within a form. I would love to see a screen shot or sample of what you have. I would think it would email the master form, that contained everything, with a submit. If somehow you wanted to send a subset you would need to use code to create the emails and loop through each ...
