If you open the Properties dialog for your optional section, click Customize Commands on the Data tab. Here you can do what you are asking.

You will need to write code to do what you are talking about. Well, you might be able to use Rules too--depending on the number of fields, though, Rules could become unwieldy. Code is probably better. Then you just do the mapping in your code (or rules).

You should be able to do this through Add/Remove programs for InfoPath.

I guess that is one advantage of having an installed form... It is URN based instead of URL based--meaning, if the name stays the same, the forms will still open.
I believe there are tools that can be run on the local forms that will allow them to be updated to the new URL.

how much data is being pulled into the form and drop-down lists? Please do a search in these forums on performance. There have been a number of good discussions on this subject already.

Great! Glad you got it working!

I responded to your other identical posting with this:
If you want, you can use code to solve the problem. That's the safest way. Otherwise, you can create a rule (the kind that updates all rows), and then manually edit the manifest.xsf file to update the xpath for that rule action to include the filter.

OnSaveRequest is not the right thing here.

Any luck solving your issue?

Is there some other code or rules that is changing this value? Perhaps it is overriding the default value you set.
