I'm the net admin for a 170ish user company.... we have a high rate of turnover and keeping up with new users, department moves is very tough.
I've messed with Infopath enough to create basic forms ( to make my life easier)..then submit to our programmers to clean up and add functionality to them....our programmers have just built a sharepoint ...

Hi
is there a possibility to change data within e.g. ''view1.xsl'' without extracting form?
For example i added an activeX control and extracted Infopath-form. Now i was able to add a ''param''(within ''view1.xsl'') and this param's value could be read by my activeX-Control when form loads! Is it possible to do all these changes to the params ...

No, it isn't in the OnLoad code, it is in the event handler for a button.
The idea is that the user click on the button to print the form. My code then checks that there aren't any validation errors, switches to the first print view, prints it, switches to the second print view, prints it and then switches back to the data view.

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for quite a swift response. Can you please explain a bit more about creating the new record, or point me in the direction where this was discussed?
Thanks,
Gillian

Hi PleKy,
If your button is outside the repeating section, then you need to filter to which ro you want to set value. This cannot be direcly done in the UI, so you have to write the code to get the correct node and set the value.
What you have specified is a workaround and it is not good to do such workaround unless untill necessary.

Thank you Matt Faus
But where I suppose to refer the Different Web Services. At one point we have to mention the services right?...
for example webservice1,webservice2....

You might want to take a quick look at this HowTo:http://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tips/default.aspx?i=9de539adb4e846a5900a2687debb8963
That error usually happens when you put SwitchView code in the OnLoad event, because InfoPath has not created the views yet.
Otherwise, what is the ''e'' object you are using?

Thanks Agni,
But, How to do to prepare the node to append a new item, really that's my problem.
Doy you have any example?
Thanks a lot.

Yes, you should be able to do this, but it will require code.
Put code behind a custom Submit button that does something like this:
XDocument.DataObjects(''WebService1'').QueryAdapter.Submit();
XDocument.DataObjects(''WebService3'').QueryAdapter.Submit();
Hope this helps!

Dear Friends,
Is it possible to call different webservices on submit the form.
Means,Can we pass the different value from the form to different webservices(more than one) on submit.
