Thanks for your response. I agree that only allowing 'submit' when the user is on-line would be preferrable, but I really need a solution for the user to be able to 'submit' even when off-line.
So I guess no one knows if you can generate a diffgram from InfoPath?

Thanks Agni! That now has the code compiling properly and I no longer get the error message. The problem now being that NewFromSolution doesn't open newForm (I am sure I have the filepath in the correct format). Should I be using different syntax? Any help would be great, Cheers!

This does work great for insetions, but for a little issue where, once you delete a row, and then proceed to add an new row, the number generated is the same as the last number, eg: 1,2,4,5 and then add new repeating rows, which would then show 1,2,4,5,5,6,7 etc. So it seems to duplicate the last number, and in some cases, start the ...
