The proper syntax for what I want to use is:
var sPiece = getNodeValue(''/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:tblRAHeader/d:tblRADetail['' + iRow + '']/@Piece'');
I can get iRow by looping thru the node looking for a match on @Piece - as long as sPiece is unique to the node list - kind of kludgey...and slow...I think what is needed is a property of ...

Permission is denied, error will occurr if InfoPath access any external objects in the scripting code (ie. where you put // TESTING A SCRIPT IN SHAREPOINT TO SWITCH INFOPATH VIEW commented code) with out having ''fulltrust'' level of security.

thanks for replying!! i had tried that solution and the biggest problem with that is - the data source is manually typed and i would like to import it directly from the address book!!!
i cant believe that creating a multi-select listbox could be so complicated in infopath??????

I am just a week old with Infopath!!
I am trying to create multi select ListBox in Infopath. Can anyone tellme how to do this? I dragged a listbox and i realized it doesnt have multiselect by default and none of its properties allow you to enable it as a multiselect listbox.

Not sure if this is a bug from InfoPath or it behaves in this way. I got this interesting information from one of my customer. Apparently when they were printing out the forms using economy mode on the printer, checkboxes in the form will be printed out as a black box.
Setting the printer back to normal mode will solve the ''black box'' ...

You would first need to decode the attachment, then add as an email attachment. See the following link for how to decode the attachment with c# code.

Is it possible to Publish an InfoPath solution from within Visual Studio 2005 into a Sharepoint Form Library? I am attempting it and the users are getting an error that the Format of dll file is invalid. It works fine on my box (development). I have the Form Security Level set to Full Trust and I sign the form before Publishing it.
