Hi all,
Is there a way to stop someone from manually saving a form using "File" "Save As" to save to the SharePoint form library? It's fine if they want to save locally to their desktop, but I don't want them to be able to save directly to the form library. I have buttons with specific code set to run which ...

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/microsoft.office.infopath.xmlform.errors.aspx - you can get a count of the errors and then stop running your code, alert the user, etc.

I am not sure - it seems like you'd need to find out the time zone the user is using in SharePoint (guessing this is a browser form?). If you can write code (and this form isn't on Office 365, where I think you can no longer publish forms with code), I'd say it could be done with code....

Here is what I would do - just for some testing - put the query field and data fields on the form and a button that executes the query. Then you can experiment with setting the account id and clicking the button to run it, to see if there are any errors. I'm wondering if you need to use substring-after the "|" character for the ...

I opened the XML file and the fields are showing as zero's and some are NaN but the SP library view does show numbers under the columns for those fields. For example, the one I'm looking at has NaN in the XML file but shows 2.55 in the view which is what the person wants it to show but she can't get it to show on the ...

The goal is to submit new data to the database based on the previous shift's data. Not an update to the old record. I may not have worded that very clearly. I think you're right about the code. So far I have code to loop through the secondary data source records. Having trouble getting it to copy to the main data connection. I'm sure ...

Hi All,
I'm encountering an error with an InfoPath form looking up the WorkEmail of a user via the GetUserProfileByName service. Using the People Picker, a user finds a user they want to look up. By pressing a Query button, the system sets the Query Field (AccountName) for the service to the AccountId field of the People Picker. I then ...

I opened the form and it is all blank but I see the numbers she entered in my IE browser. How do I download the XML file?
