Hi Ryan,
How about adding rules to your control panel buttons to switch the view and then print. The print will have to be done in code and, as Matt states, will require FT, but it's doable.

Hi Ryan,
One way to do this is to save the current time in a field when the submit button is pressed but just before you submit to the DB. When the user reopens the form and changes status to Completed/Close, create an OnAfterChange handler that compares current time to submitted time and displays the difference. This will require a little coding ...

Hi Mairen,
Do you mean multiple InfoPath forms or multiple views within one form? Both scenarios can be batch-submitted, but the latter is much simpler. Please let me know and I'll respond with some ideas.

With my current project there are a series of forms that are grouped together. Among these is one main form that ties all of the other ones together. I would like to make it so that submitting the main form will submit the other forms as well. In addition, any given form may or may not be submitted depending on if it is marked as ''completed'' ...

I have a textbox bound to this field in my InfoPath form. (With my main data table set up as the primary data source.)
I have a secondary data source set to query ...

Hi FG,
you need to use number function for your psalary and asalary. ie. number(psalary)-number(asalary). Be sure to insert function number before you select your fields name.

Hi I need to do mathematical operations with fields like plus/minus operations, but when in the field properties->value I wrote a formula like d:psalary-d:asalary. This expression is not a valid formula, so I want to know how can I do this formula.
Thanks

Can you tell me more about either of these options? I'm relatively new (perhaps obvious by the number of posts) and have no coding knowledge.
Two points I'd like to clarify;
1) In the Submit button properties all Rules execute before Code, correct? It's kind of odd that they put the Code button on top of the Rules button. It gives you the ...

Hi, I am trying to create a trouble ticket system that will help me keep track of tech support calls, then after I enter each ''trouble ticket'' I submit it to a database. I would like to know if there is a way to create a timer that would activate when the form is submitted to the database, and would stop when I reopen the ticket and change the ...
