  • Re: Populate values from different form

Here's the javascript solution I've implemented. Just to add another similar example: function btnRaiseChange::OnClick(eventObj) { var xDoc = Application.XDocuments.NewFromSolution(''http://test/Forms/template.xsn''); var sourceNode = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''/my:myFields/my:group4/my:deviceName''); //had trouble with ...

  • Can I embed a form on a webpage?

I'm trying to work through some performance issues--long load times--with my form. It's got a lot of data connections, but to fairly small Access DB tables (all in the same DB). I may be able to clean some of these up, and possibly clean up some nested layouts and DDLs, but I'm wondering if some of my problems might be solved by just embedding ...

  • Re: Screen Refresh/Flicker

Try to track down the source of the problem. Make a copy of your form, and then working with the copy, remove items one-by-one until the flickering stops. Then, starting with another fresh copy of your form, try removing just the offending items. If the flickering stops again, then you need to figure out why those items are causing the problem. ...

  • Re: RTF data in secondary data source

Hi Shyam, thank you for your efforts to help me. I truly have to say that I don´t know if the 'ntext' field is coming as an attribut or element. How can I identify if the data field is an attribute or an element? I have defined the secondary data connection in the same way like any other secondary data connection. I have used the wizard in the ...

  • Re: Printing a view via code

Patrick, I've got the printing working as you described, but I still can't figure out how to get it to switch back the view to the default view automatically (via code) after printing. Currently as a workaround, I have a button on the print view that says ''Finished printing'', but it really is a stopgap - seems very ''kludgey''. There has got ...

  • Re: RTF data in secondary data source

Is the 'ntext' field coming as an attribute or element. I think when we do secondary data connection to DB we will get the columns as attributes, if that is so then you will not be able to convert it to rich text field. If it is coming as element then you can change the schema for that column to accomodate XHTML.

  • Screen Refresh/Flicker

I have a repeating table with about 40 rows getting default values automatically populated from the xml file. When I start adding data to the columns there is quite a bit of action on the screen as the subtotal calculations occur in the footer of the table. Is there any way to control this?

  • Merge Documents

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to create merge documents using InfoPath. I have a template word file with some data (FirstName, SecondName etc.) and additional content. A Windows application uses this file in order to generate a new word file within repeated content of the template file, additionaly replace FirstName and SecondName with ...
