From what I understood when I had this problem it could be rectified by using a digital certificate and signing the form. Without an understanding of this we didn't get it to work and resorted to changing the relevant IE settings. however this had to be done for each user (someone else took care of that, semi-automatable?).
Our form is in a ...

Thanks, Ted. That helps, but -- if I understand correctly -- the only way to have others use fully trusted forms is for the forms to be installed individually for each user, preferably via an MSI package. The implication is that if it is a requirement that I make these forms accessible from a intranet web link, I'm stuck with the warning ...

I am finding more and more uses for Infopath - I have almost abandoned Excel/Word/Access competely. I have developed a form for an application which solves so many of the difficulties with the other Office apps, but with one very large problem - calculation speed.
The form contains schedules along with costs. The heirarchy is three levels deep ...

Me again. ;-)
I have a status report form in which I created text fields in a repeating table. After using for some time, I now realize RTF fields would be better so users can insert hyperlinks to deliverables, and add other attributes. Is there any way to change that field type without losing the existing data in the forms?
Thanks.

Another quick issue:
I have a hyperlink to an InfoPath template in an ASPX page. The link works for three of us in the office, but for one user when he clicks it nothing happens. I've confirmed he has InfoPath installed by launching it manually.
Any clue why this would be?
Thanks, as usual.

Sorry, Matt. I had mistakenly checked the ''allow overwrite'' checkbox. The function works perfectly! This forum is so awesome!
Thank you, Matt!

{
if (XDocument.Errors.Count > 0)
{
XDocument.UI.Alert(''Required information is missing as indicated by the red asterisk(s).'')
return;
}
try
{
XDocument.Submit()
}
catch(e)
{
XDocument.UI.Alert(''Sorry, the form has already been ...

Hi Deb,
A situation such as this is why the try...catch block was invented! Try this out, and for further info seehttp://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/script56/html/b7a0a54e-dfaa-4e41-bf25-bcaa43e601fb.asp

Hi quelcjlx and welcome to the InfoPathDev forums!
I think you can eliminate that message by making the form fully trusted - in other words digitally signing the document.
And this post might help you out:

Hope that helps!
