  • Re: Form should modify but creates new

Here is the code I am using to use the current form's name (contains a date). In my dev environment using InfoPath 2003 SP2 all is well, in my client's environment (SP1) a new form is added to the library when it is re-submitted that is named with the current date as opposed to just updating the current form. I have had similar code working with ...

I have a repeating section with a ddl that is filtered based on the values in a textbox in another part of my form. You can also use ''xdExtension:method()'' in the conditional formatting. Where ''method()'' is a function in the code and in this case it returns true/false.

  • Re: Using C# to disable controls

Hello hapinder and welcome to the forum! Unfortunately you will not be able to use quite the same object model as you did while working in Visual Studio Windows Applications. An IXMLDOMNode object has absolutely no formatting of display attributes, this is because XML is strictly data. The seperation of data and design is a key component of why ...

  • Re: Xpath differently in expression box and text box

I have used this little trick several times today, maybe it will come in handy for you: Wherever you are trying to use the current() function put in this XPath: local-name(current()) and you will know instantly what node current() is refering to.

I am using WebDAV to check if the file is new and if not then use the current file name. This works in my dev environment just not with the client's environment. I want to know if their is some kind of configuation that they may have missed or if it is the difference in service packs. Thanks, Joel
