Yes, you can do this with a simple data filter on the repeating table.
Double-click the repeating table, Click Display Tab, and then click Filter Data. Click Add, choose 'The Expression' from the first drop -down. Delete whatever was in the textbox originall and insert this expression:
position() > last() - 10
That should do the trick!

You can export to Excel, but you will have to create an transform file and apply it to the XML that is saved from the form.
Try this:
1. Open your Excel file, go to File -> Save As, choose ExcelML to save the Excel file as an XML file.
2. Open the XML file created in step 1 in Visual Studio and insert XSLT functions and change the file ...

Please post all of your XPath filters so I can help debug.
This can get kind of complicated sometimes so it's rather hard without knowing your schema. If you want to take a screenshot of the data source task pane, that would also be helpful.

If you change this:
<LibraryName>GetListItems</LibraryName>
In the link that Uma gave to whatever the name of your list is, you should be able to do this. Another, related, HowTo can be found here:http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=7bc880f391b84ea9b3b45c6fbecc07c6

Wow, that was a world record quick response! Thanks Chris. I left out an important dimension to my case. The secondary data source connects to a SQL Server table with over 20,000 records. Using it to populate fields in the main data source is impractical for the user and brings InfoPath to it's knees performance wise. Without a custom script ...

Hi Oleg and welcome to InfoPathDev!
Have you tried to do this a rule in the first checkbox? You should be able to make a rule where you change the values of the checkboxes you want to select when the value of the first checkbox is = true.
Hope that helps!

I came across this problem when I was building my first form. The way I got around it was I created fields in my Main datasource that matched the fields in my secondary DS and connected them to the secondary DS. From there I was able to do all the filtering I wanted.
I'm new and I share your sentiments Mike - I hope this has helped.

Too bad you never got an answer to the secondary data source filtering issue. I have the same question! So far it seems the only way to do this is by writing a T-SQL stored procedure that takes search criteria as parameters or design a Web service that does the same thing. I'm working on trying one or both of these approaches. ...

Glad to see I'm not the only one Adub21 lol! I'm still having trouble with this but I've learned a lot about XPATH along the way.
Now that I know more I'm going to try to explain my situation a little better.
Here's my Schema:
my:SMARTool(repeating group)
my:Section1-A_CI(repeating group)
ProjectCommonTitleCI (DDL - Access database is secondary ...

Hi Matt. I have a question similar to this and I've been working on this all day and haven't been able to figure it out.
I have a form that has a drop down list for Customer and a drop down list for all the projects that correlate to each customer. I also have other fields for Project Manager and associated information.
When a user comes into ...
