Welcome to the forum.
Assuming you are going to copy all the nodes over based on the customer you selected in the drop down list, you will most likely need to use code for that. You will want to clone the repeating nodes from the secondary data source and append to the main dom.

You will definitely want to take the ::OnClick() off of the function name. I suggest following the tutorial exactly as it is stated and then once you get it working you can build the function out in the code to do all that you want it to do.

Make sure you truly have your Configuration set to Debug (Build --> Configuration Menu...).
I know you mentioned above that you do, but that gets me everytime after deploying in Release.
