  • Re: Populating Fields from DD List

What guess was correct? To provide a tree, you can just do it in text kind of like I did it above. Also - your drop-down list uses the ID field as the ''value'' right? Make sure that your display name is ''Title''.

I have a form that I had developed and subsequently added some code to. I didn't realize when I added the code (I do not have a heavy background in programming)that it was c#. The form code was saved as a javascript file. I subsequently purchased and installed Visual Studio 2005 and the Infopath toolkit, but I can't seem to modify this code in ...

Could you provide a tree of your data source? I think it looks like this: Cost_Code --Cost_Code --ID --Title And if so, you're XPath should be this: xdXDocument:GetDOM(''Cost Code'')/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/dfs:Cost_Code/@Cost_Code[../@ID = current()]

THATS IT! :) (add master repeating table to this) thanks a lot for the help. what i was doing wrong... Apparently the repeating table has to be a master table to be able to change the bindings. I was not creating a master table so i was unable to change the bindings. therefore when i would bind each field to the datasource i would only get ...

  • Re: List Entry Form

thanks drgkreddy... Is this datasource a link to the actual Sharepoint list, or another CAML file? I have created a DS to Sharepoint list and looked at changing data binding to one of these fields and I got a message about repeating items and non-repeating items. I thk this is because the DS is polling sharepoint to get the data, and there will ...
