Any reason why the text needs to be contained within a text box (or other control) instead of just typing the text directly into the form canvas? If you need to show/hide the text, you could always type it into a section, and then hide the section. This would allow for rich text and paragraph breaks.

For any InfoPath form (with or without qRules), you can add fields, but you should never remove or reorder the schema. Once you remove or reorder the nodes, you could cause existing forms to become incompatible with the XSN. I believe that's the reason you're getting this error; I wouldn't think qRules has anything to do with this ...
