Okay, I understand. Thank you and have a nice day, Hilary.

InfoPath designer is where you can modify a view to specify a print view - as to the print button itself, sorry, I didn't read that closely. I think you'll just need to use the built in IP functionality / browser printing.

Hello Hilary,
Thank you for your thoughts.
To be sure I understand - exactly, where do I set the "report" view as the print view? Do I use InfoPath Designer?
Also, where is the Print button located that the user would click? Is the print button on the SharePoint tool bar?
Cordially,
John

Hi, Christopher - you could just set your Sol. Responsible with a rule on the Solution field. You need to add a rule to your main data source Solution field that will set your main data source Sol. Responsible field. When you select the value you'll be setting Sol. Responsible to, you need to click the filter data button and add a filter in ...

That's what I need, at the moment it's only pulling in one name. The data isn't in a repeating table just a simple text column, do you have an example of the double eval?

I'm sorry - I don't know what you mean. If your requirement is that the user's email signature be included, I think you may be out of luck - I suppose you could add something to the form design that looks like the signature you want, but I assume you'll have a number of users of this form, not just yourself?

InfoPath doesn't have any rule actions that will add rows to a repeating table, and with list forms we can't add code - so if you need this data in the main data source, you'd have to use a double eval to aggregate it. If you just need to display the ...

Yah - what does the data in the secondary table look like? Just date values? Are you looking for an exact match - user selects 2016-11-15 and you want back just the last three digits from another field in a row that has 2016-11-15? At any rate, I created a simple sample - save the attached file locally, right click and select Design, then ...

Maybe set the "report" view as the print view for the view(s) the user would be in? Then when they click Print, it will print that view? If instead you want to change views to that view, you can add a button that takes them back to the main view - I usually format the button to just look like a link.

Hello SharePoint/InfoPath Users,
Introduction: Our Project uses InfoPath 2010 (IP) and SharePoint 2010 (SP). The IP form uses several views depending on the current task. All is working well here.
Now, we wish to generate a summary report by way of a Button Click on a particular view. The report that we want to print is actually a ...
