One final question if I may. If I use the standard submit to email feature, the form will not allow an email submission if there is an error on the form, i.e. missing mandatory data, which is good.
When using the above code behind a button, the code allows an incomplete form to be sent via email. Any way to enforce the mandatory data check when ...

You're welcome. This was a good opportunity to explain the new mail features. :)

I only want the specific view visable in the body of the email. I dont want the rest of the form attached as an attachment. Not all users in my enterprise have InfoPath installed so the attached xml file will be useless to them. The view appears in the body of the email as HTML and is perfect for them.

The entire XML will always be attached. The only thing that is view specific is also putting the view into the body of the mail message. However, that only happens when using InfoPath's built in email functionality (not email submit).
When you say you want to email with a specific view do you mean you want that view in the email body, or do you ...

It sounds like you have created an MSI which publishes the XSN to a specific folder on the user's machine which matches the folder structure on your machine.
1) Are you sure that you are exactly overwriting the previously installed XSN?
2) Double-check that the version number of the new XSNs is incrementing. This should happen automatically when ...

Ah. There isn't a way to do this in InfoPath 2003. But in InfoPath 2007 you are able to fine tune the email settings to only send the view, attach the XML, and even attach the XSN for simple (restricted trust) forms!

This is the ''Name'' property on the form. It is automatically set when you save the file, but you can manually change it through the File::Properties dialog so you don't have to match your XSN filename.
From that dialog you can also set a category for your template which will appear on the left of the Form Gallery Dialog when opening new forms.

I'm a little confused. Does the dropdown show the list of projects, and then when you select the project below that is a repeating table showing the tasks and their status? Thx.
