  • Re: Data connections still work after redirect?

Honestly? I would worry too. Generally, the data connections in the form have to be updated to be directed to the new list / library. I wouldn't have much faith that a redirect would work. But perhaps they have a test environment already set up and have checked this? Also, if you publish a form to a new location (which it sounds like ...

  • Re: Edit InfoPath in Browser

So - is this a list form? I ask because you mention an edit view. Does the form open in the browser for anyone? Generally, if a form is supposed to open in the browser and does not, either the library settings are incorrect, or the form hasn't been set to the correct compatibility.

  • Re: Repeating Section in a SharePoint List

Can you attach your template in a reply under the options tab? I could take a look at the rules - see why your name isn't getting set in the following rows. As to the second issue - would setting the query fields to the common value, like the user name, then querying get all the items back in the form? Maybe on form load? I just did a ...

  • Re: Repeating Section in a SharePoint List

Hello, I've tried adding a secondary XML to change all the values to become the same. Issue I'm having is that none of the repeated sections repeat the value. They just remain blank. I've found one of the infopath forms that you've posted to another thread and mimicked the form but I don't get the same results as you had ...

  • Re: Repeating Section in a SharePoint List

I would probably use a secondary XML file for the "global" fields and add rules to set the main data source values when they change. In your form load rules, you'll need to set the global fields to the current main data source values for your Edit view. As to seeing "all the computers" - maybe add another secondary data ...

  • Re: Repeating Tables with default values

So - when we add to default data, it goes into the template.xml file, which InfoPath uses to create a new, blank form. I would only expect to see this issue in forms that were created prior to the addition of the default data. If you have new ones showing up w/ the same issue, are they from a different user? Is this a browser form or a filler ...

  • Re: Repeating Tables with default values

Hey Hilary - hello again and thanks for your reply.. I've added a couple of pictures above - Yes new forms did work fine so I thought, but just had two new forms filled out and this happened which I thought was strange? If there's no known fix for it - then so be it. a glitch in the matrix :-) Thanks ...

  • Re: Repeating Tables with default values

Add your pictures under the Options tab, or put upload them someplace for image sharing & include a link.  For default data - if you made the change to include the repeating rows with the different values after you already had some forms filled out, the old ones will have the repeated nodes w/ just the first lines values. New ones ...

  • Re: How do I publish an InfoPath form to SharePoint for offline use?

A-ha! Thanks Hilary - I had the wrong form type selected. It's now working OK.  Can I ask, is there any way of automating the submissions when the tablet gets network connectivity, or do the forms still need to be submitted manually?   Finally, if the forms have to be submitted manually, is there a ...
