  • Re: Versionizing Infopath forms

    Hi Millie, if you update a form template, the changes you make will be reflected in any existing forms that are associated with that form template. To modify a form template without overwriting the published form template, open the published form template and use the Save As command to save a copy of the form template. After modifying and ...

  • Blank entry in list box and drop down listbox

    Hi, I've designed a form template with a number of list boxes and drop down listbox, all of which gets their values from a web service returning an xml document. All of these boxes seem to always have an empty/blank entry as the first item in the list. Eventhough the xml document does not have any blank fields. This only happens in InfoPath ...

Private string GetSharepointFolderPath() { string solutionUri = thisXDocument.Solution.URI; int position = solutionUri.LastIndexOf(''/Forms/''); if(position == -1) { return ''''; } position = ...

  • Re: using InfoPath to build ASP.net workflow applicati

    I totally agree with you. WWF in SharePoint Designer is too limited. The stuff that K2 is crafting will be best.

  • Re: using InfoPath to build ASP.net workflow applicati

    I am a little late on this thread here but working with WWF long term may not be the best. It is a low level programming framework in which you can build code in visual format. It has no concept of human business workflow processing. You create loops, if then blocks, etc. You have to build everything from scratch. I really see WWF being ...

  • Re: Call webservice from VBscript

    Well I can't really remember the error message I'm getting, but like I said I'm trying to use a ''Delete file from SharePoint'' how-to (see above) but I'm stuck on the last step. It says to put the following code in formcode.cs private void deleteFile(string fileName) { ...

  • Re: nillable=false equals required?

    I agree in general that I shouldn't be digging around in the schema much, but I have to say, if I have 20 elements I want to make read-only, I would rather do it in the schema (possibly by defining and using a type) than add the same rule 20 times manually. Is there any shortcut for adding the same rule to a bunch of fields? All the mousing and ...
