That is the correct way to get the rounding. However, if you were able to set a SharePoint column to use 2 decimals, then you probably don't need to have the extra field with the rounded results any more. Is that the case?
You should be able to specify that you data connection not allow overwrites. At least I believe that you can.

Glad to help. Keep that OM Reference in mind when you get stuck. It is very useful. I find that I refer to it frequently.

It sounds like you have a Web service that returns a certain schema, but in the case of an error it returns a different schema. This is not possible.
Two solutions:
1. Create a combined schema for success and failure. That way no matter which XML you return, the schema will match.
2. Use a try/catch block and if there is an error, query a ...

That submits for me. I wonder if you have a number of data connections, which one it uses by default? I haven't attempted it in the current form I'm working on that has six (count 'em 6!) data connections. It's a workflow solution with multiple email submits.
I hope someone here can help us with a solution. I guess 2007 will help with this, ...

Hi deb, I just read your whole post on the community about that and when I use that code it closed the program just fine, but I want it to submit something to my SharePoint too and it does not do that anymore. I need to write a custom submit code I presume, but I am not up to speed in doing that yet.
I am actually having fun now trying to figure ...

I would pay you $20 in a heartbeat for a solution that would retrieve the logged in user's SAM name, email address, and account id. The problem is we have a bureaucratic quagmire and I have no access to the servers to install a Web service. The only control I have is at my form level and what I can get ''from'' Sharepoint.
I'm using ...

I am trying to use the how to article
http://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=06d94826ac7a46a09a0f68238c2e0769
so that I can get the current user info from sharepoint, but I am getting a SOAP exception error message when I use the GetList web service.
The instructions say:
Set Sample value as form library name that you just ...

Here is the code I got from the good people on the Microsoft forum. Put this in in the code of a submit button. It first checks to be sure all required fields have values. It then attempts to submit.
What I'm waiting for is a way to specify which data connection to submit to. Then, this code will be perfect for me. In the meantime, ...

Bonjour
