Hi Deb,
You need to modify the url of the sharepoint address in manifest.xsf file or you need to modify the data connection of the sharepoint.
In code it will take the sharepoint address from manifest.xsf file only. You no need to change your code.

Hi Deb!
Thanks for reading our book! :) What is InformIT? Should I subscribe to that?
You can get the login alias in InfoPath 2007 using the built-in function. In InfoPath 2003 you can also get it using the Environment...Username solution described in chapter 2 of our book. Unfortunately, this doesn't work so well for extranetted users (users ...

Hi Michael,
Go to InfoPath Designer. Choose to Extract Form Files (IP 2003) or Save As Source Files (IP 2007). Specify a folder. Navigate to the folder in Windows Explorer. Right click on the schema.xsd file and choose Open in Notepad. Ctrl-A and copy the entire file. Paste into the forum chat or send us an e-mail. Thanks!

Perhaps what you are looking for is the OnContextChange event.

Normally, to accomplish this if..then feature you would use filters. . . . Something like:
give me all the contacts where the teamsite = selected category
-or-
SharePointContacts/TeamSite[. = SelectedCategory]/Contacts/Contact
Obviously the XPath above would need to be modified to your particular schemas, but it should give you a rough idea.

The xpath should probably go in whatever node you are using to sum the values. Most likely as a default value formula.
